Clean Room refers to the removal of particulates, harmful air, bacteria and other pollutants in the air within a certain spatial range, control indoor temperature, cleanliness, indoor pressure, airflow velocity, airflow distribution, noise vibration, illumination, and static electricity within a certain range of demand, and give a specially designed room. That is, no matter how the external air conditions change, the indoors can have the characteristics of maintaining the cleanliness, temperature, humidity and pressure that were originally set.
The design and construction of the clean room is mainly considering the design of the ground, wall, ceiling, door and window. He is different from the general factory in terms of functions and requirements. There are mainly the following requirements:
1. The architectural layout of the clean room is generally provided with an annular seal corridor outside the room. It provides a buffer zone between the clean area and the outside world. It can prevent external pollution and is relatively energy efficient. The doors and windows in the room should be flat with the inner wall surface, and should don't provide window sills. The structural form of the outer window should fully consider the sealing of the air moisture so that the contaminated particles are not easily infiltrated from the outside.
2. The ground should use the overall grounds, which are flat, seamless, wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, not easy to collect static electricity, easy to clean. The cast-in-place terrazzo floor can be used in the design, and the diameter of the stone used should be between 6-15mm. The dividers must be separated by copper strips and no glass strips. The wall surface should be smooth, flat and dust-free, corrosion-resistant, and the color is harmonious, which is easy to identify the pollutants. The interior wall paint must be painted with anti-mildew, anti-static, glare-proof and resistant to cleaning and disinfection. At the intersection of the wall and the ground should be made a 50mm radius arc to reduce dust accumulation and facilitate cleaning.
3. In order to ensure indoor cleaning, all air ducts and lamps must be placed in the interlayer. Most pharmaceutical companies now use color steel sandwich panels to seal the ceiling. The color steel sandwich panel has the characteristics of light weight, large overall strength, good integrity, thermal insulation, heat preservation and low dust generation, and is suitable for GMP production plants. However, the fixing of the ceiling must be connected to the main body of the structure and cannot be mixed with equipment and pipeline supports.
4. In the clean room decoration, the fire resistance rating of the building should be strictly controlled. The fire resistance of the building components should be matched with the fire resistance of the plant during the design, thus greatly reducing the possibility of fire. Moreover, it is necessary to pay attention to the burning performance of the decoration materials, and to minimize the use of some polymer synthetic materials to avoid a large amount of smoke generated when a fire occurs, which is not conducive to personnel escape.
5. The construction of the clean room should follow the main structure completion, door and window frame installation, waterproof treatment, hanger installation and inspection, electrical installation, wall top door and window installation, lamp installation, floor decoration, acceptance, commissioning, testing and other processes.
In summary, the clean room has higher requires about air temperature, humidity and cleanliness. The designer should select the building materials according to the process requirements and the cleanliness level, and consider the fire resistance performance to meet the design requirements of the clean room.
