IndustryARC is a global market research and business consulting firm based out of India, according to their analyzing of the competitive landscape of the global PCB market for 2015, Japan's Nippon Mektron Ltd. had the top position with a market share of around 3.9%, followed by Taiwan-based Unimicron Technology Corporation with a share of 3.7%.

The global PCB manufacturing market is expected to increase from around $65.3 billion in 2015 to around $74.31 billion in 2018, growing at a CAGR of 3.6%, according to research firm IndustryARC.

The market volume is also expected to increase to 32 billion units and 3.92 million tons by 2018, growing at 3.8% and 5%, respectively. The PCB remanufacturing market is also expected to grow at an impressive CAGR of 41% during the forecast period.

Considering the high level of market share fragmentation, the top six companies had a combined market share of only 18% in the industry. Most of the top PCB manufacturer has their PCB plants in China. China now is the biggest PCB manufacturer base in the world.
