According to JPCA(Japan Electronics Packaging Circuits Association)Statistics on Oct. in July, 2015 the Japanese printed circuit board (rigid PCB + Flexible PCB + IC substrate PCB) output increase over the same month of last year by 16.8% to 1.368 million square meters, it is the second consecutive month to show growth; sales volume growth of 12.2% to 47.028 billion yen.
Regarding each PCB type, in July, conventional FR4 PCB production was same in the same month last year, the total output was 92.9 million square meters, this is an end of the consecutive six-month decline; sales volume reach growth of 5.8 percent to 29.352 billion yen, the second consecutive month to show growth.
FPC (Flexible PCB) production soared by 103.8 percent to 379,000 square meters, the second consecutive month showing growth; sales volume increase 40.1% to 6.721 billion yen, the 11th consecutive month to show growth.
IC Substrate PCB yield growth over the same month last year by 7.1% to 60,000 square meters, the seventh consecutive month to show growth; sales volume growth of 17.0 percent to 10.955 billion yen, the 15th consecutive month to show growth.
In total January to July of 2015, PCB production in Japan, the growth is 0.6 percent compared with last year, reach 7.775 million square meters, sales volume growth of 8.2 percent to 2,957.21 billion yen.
Among them, Conventional FR4 PCB production fell 4.0% to 6.004 million square meters, sales volume growth of 3.1 percent to 1,914.94 one hundred million yen; Flexible PCB production growth of 21.0 percent to 1.388 million square meters, sales volume growth of 27.3 percent to 38.627 billion yen; IC substrate PCB growth of 17.5% to 383,000 square meters, sales volume growth 14.8% to 65.6 billion yen.
